Because if it was...someone was getting hurt. "What's with the flowers? I mean, not that I don't appreciate them..I do, but..why are you giving me flowers?" She was getting confused.
Cass sighed. Of course Heather won't understand. "Never you mind." She said as she rolled her eyes. She noticed that Heather didn't really enjoy being trapped here..besides, maybe she had to meet up with Kurumi or something. She reluctantly let go of her shirt and said "You're free to go if you want."
Wait a second, so she was free to go just like that? Just when cass urged her to stay...just when she saw Cass and Jonathan be friendly...a little too friendly perhaps with the flowers, that is...she can go?
But she supposed she really should go; this looked important and the slight blush on her bestie's face was making Heather feel that what she was thinking was right. Or she thought it would be.
Jonathan seems to have taken a liking to Cass. She smiled at the two, but her smile did look sweet, yet there was a hidden mischief behind it, sort of like wan urge to tease her own bestie. Still, she knew she could never tease Cass-she'd go ballistic and Heather would cringe, half-laughing, half-scared.
"okay." she said calmly to Cass.
"Catch you later Cass. We do have homework to do." she said, but that was likely a lie-she'd rather put it as an excuse. She turned to Jonathan and with beady eyes, told him:
"See you around Jonathan! A lot, around i guess." smiling a bit wider, she turned around and hopped out of sight from the two.

He giggled while scratching the back of his neck. He didn't act like a fool...... YET. At least now, he was back to normal.
Of course, he had this question coming. He knew she would ask him why she gave them in the first place. Words started to ramble inside his thoughts. "well" truthfully? "I like you..." he looked at the bouquet he made. Happy to see them so pretty and actually turned out better than he expected. Jonathan doesn't know how to make a bouquet but the thought of actually giving them to someone kinda motivated him a little bit.
"I don't know why but I just find you amazing" he said smiling once again to her. Jonathan can say she's pretty, adorable, sweet, and what not but to him those adjectives were just not enough to explain why he likes her.
Because... he just does. Right now, he's just hoping she wouldn't think that he's acting like a complete psycho or something.
...but not too far. Heather had hidden somewhere. Thanks to her rather small height, she could hide almost anywhere low. or unnoticable. Good thing she can still hear her bestie and Jonathan and--

Heather was greatly surprised at this, but she was grinning at it. Jonathan likes Cass. So does that mean he fancies her? He did say Cass was amazing and she would nod, no, she would bow to that. Cass is an amazing girl; after all, she is one of her best besties. One she'll never replace with anything even though Cass was temperamental.
She leaned a bit closer, straining her ears to hear what Cass has to say to what Jonathan said. Perhaps, she can take a lesson or two about how people with...what was that term...crush? yeah. how people with Crushes are like.
CHOCO CHIPS, she still does not really understand how love, like and crushes go about even though it was evident with her that she was already having one with a boy whom is no longer around in Hogwarts but is overseas-in Dumstrang.
