He glanced around with his light blue eyes as he came further into the room and, instead of sitting down completely, leaned forward against the back of an empty chair. "Windows aren't going to work, for those of you who suggested it. Our windows have artificial sunlight, correct? And that would be because we are underground. Unless dirt is less stifling..." Harland shook his head, putting one hand lightly behind his back. "As for music, can I please assume that won't be in cubicle areas? How would anyone get any work done if not? It seems like it would only be another distraction."
Harland ran his fingers through his hair during and after he spoke each time out of habit. Some might of thought it was nerves, but honestly, what kind of dimwits would suggest opening the windows? Sounded to him like he wasn't in the brightest division. Quote:

Trust me, I saw him out in the Courtyard and he has a lot of supporters. More than one would think. I'll be sure to keep it to myself Gina, but you need to understand that to a point morals do come into play..." She would keep her mouth shut, unless Borr did something extremely outlandish. And she had a feeling the breaking point was coming soon.
Then she heard a voice come from the door. She saw Harland in the doorway with his usual mysterious smirk. When he opened his mouth she had to refrain from clapping. Someone else who thought that Borr was not doing something logical and for the benefit of his community. Of course, Harland didn't word it as softly as Sophie would have wished, but it made a point regardless.
She raised her pen to point at Harland in an attempt to show that she agreed with him.
