 Irish eyes || Nanny McPhee
Since he opened this book, Damien felt like he was in over his head. Some of these words he couldn't even pronounce and for being a sixth year student at a magical school ... well it was kind of sad, really.
While he did manage to jot down a few notes that could be helpful in the future, he needed a break. Closing the book, with a not so soft thud, he rubbed his eyes, sighing heavily.
THUD
Jerking his head up toward the sound, his eyes fell upon a gril who must have tripped over her feet. There was no rug or bumps on the floor where she'd fallen, but her stuff had still been thrown all over the place.
He scooted out of his chair and got down on his knees beside her. "Steady on, there," he said, Irish accent slightly audible, helping her pick up her stuff. "Any bumps or scrapes? You took a pretty good fall there." |
