Post Bonnie Wright & Freddie Stroma attend Indonesia press conference for The Philosophers

Harry Potter actors Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) and Freddie Stroma (Cormac McLaggen) were on hand at the Jakarta, Indonesia press conference for their upcoming psychological thriller, The Philosophers, with their international set of costars. More information on the plot of the story, about 20 international philosophy students, from Turkey, Iran, Australia, Africa, Canada, United States and London, in Indonesia used by their professor for an experiment, was released, as well as a few quotes from Bonnie herself. Photos of the cast, including James D’Arcy as the professor, Daryl Sabara, Sophie Lowe, Rhys Wakefield, and Indonesian native Cinta Laura at the conference can be found, courtesy of KAG, in our galleries.

Producer George Zakk and Cybill, and director John Huddles said the film will be is about 20 teenagers who attended an international school in Jakarta, which follows a philosophy class. They consist of various nations and be taught by a teacher (to be played by James D'Arcy).

They then obtain a job, and an experiment of the teacher. Of the 20 students, they receive the kind of tests and then will choose 10 people, to then improve the human race against the threat of nuclear danger.

Early in the story of The Philosophers ranging from an international school in Jakarta. Once, pop up a message that there will be a terrifying nuclear disaster.

A philosophy teacher (played by James D'Arcy) has an underground shelter. He would invite his students to get into the bunker, but was only ten of the 20 students who could enter.

That's where the teacher member challenges his students to 20 people could get a chance to get into the barracks for protection.






Production will begin today, Saturday, June 25th around temple in the Central Java region of Jakarta, and only in the city.

[Bonnie] Wright, who played Ginny Weasly in the wizard franchise, said the cast had been in the city for a week “acclimatizing themselves to the local conditions to help them get into character.”

“The character I’m playing is outgoing and very outspoken,” she said. “I’m very excited about that because [Ginny Weasly] was always quiet.”
There is currently no set release date. Remember that Bonnie will be heading to London for two days in early July for the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, and will not be able to promote further due to her commitment to The Philosophers.
