"Shiver me timbers!" Mad Jasper Glick suddenly yelled. By the tone of his voice, one might think he'd gone deaf or was close to it. He jumped out of his chair and then used it to climb atop the table. He looked left, and then he looked right--"Me hair's grown longer! Me legs' grown shorter!"

His booming voice echoed across the Great Hall. "Me voice has gone softer!"
