Tired of the cold?... Oh but winter was such a wonderful season. All that snow, and hot chocolate, and tea... not to mention it was the perfect time to curl up in front of a fire with a book. "Ahh..Well before you know it, it will be summer again..." and holidays! Quote:

Now, Ellie could see how the new Herbology Professor was. Certainly better than Vindictus. No doubts there. But...was she a Dodson? Ellie had liked Dodson. Hopefully, this Professor wouldn't make her miss him too much. As in, hopefully she liked the Professor. "Hey, Professor," she greeted as she walked in. Ellie was open to first impressions. Maybe even second...she was learning.
She eyed the table and the blackboard. They were writing? Interesting... Good thing she didn't mind taking notes too much. Parchment and quills and ink were the few...or, rather, the only materials she ever really brought. And with Herbology there was the added bonus of gloves. Thanks to that one blood-plant lesson Dodson had given.
The girl decided to take a seat somewhere near the end. Close to the door.
This wasn't the greenhouse with the Snargaluff Plant in it, was it? Oohh a new face in her class. But a familiar face nonetheless. "Morning Miss Stone, congratulations on Ravenclaw's win over the weekend. You played spectacularly."It was good to see Ravenclaw do well. It reminded her of when she was a student. Quote:

She was very wary of the magical plants, cautious but bold (she did play the roles of several plants that required her to SING AND SWAY IN THE BACKGROUND in those lost loooost times of hers).
Lola Jones planned to befriend plants today.
And what else to do than be a plant herself?!
PERFECTION; the girl had decorated her robes, adding stickers and pins of flowers and plants--there was one that mentioned "LOLA&WHOMPINGWILLOW4EVER" and an array of other pins, but she stood out. She stood out all right. Was this part of the school dress code? Oh the Herbology professor wouldn't mind would she? She was merely spreading the POWER of friendship throughout her greenhouse! THE MAGICAL EXPERIENCE! The girl even transfigured her hat into a very decorative flower that coiled around her head and so, with these decorations, she felt... so... environmental.
Good props she had--would she get extra House Points for the effort??? *coughwinkitywinkcough*
She was almost inside the room and then she felt a surge--a rush--Lola, the flower, felt as if she fit in among the rest of the plants! "Good day, professor! The atmosphere you keep here! It feels as if I'm in that "Midsummer Night's Dream" and I--I AM AN AMAZONIAN QUEEN..." She paused, wondering if she kept fairies in here too! "How are you? How are your plants? Are they ready to become my acquaintances?--I practiced photosynthesizing over the summer professor, don't you worry--If you EVER EVER EVER need a professional human photosynthesizer..." she bowed like the little tiny flower she was.
Walking in the greenhouse, she waved to her peers, eyeing them all, took an extra look at Ellie Stone as she reminisced the events at that last Quidditch game (EVENTS TOO HARSH FOR ME TO RETYPE), and then happily skipped off to take a seat. She was a flower today. She even brought her flowery and overdramatic feathery quill. See? How prepared she was. Oh... uhh... WOW.
Seren hoped she wasn't starring. "Hello dear... I'll um keep that in mind," she said offering the escentric girl a smile. "Lovely hat by the way." Quote:

Not a soul she had any desire to speak with so she made her way to a relatively secluded area and plopped down and began to shed layers as the greenhouse was pretty warm.
"Good day, Professor," she called from her seat. No she had not forgotten. At all. She was merely FOCUSED. On stuff. And things. "Hello Miss Denver." Quote:

The conditions here were relatively pleasant. Taking a look around he dropped his bag from his shoulder, as he read the board, he took out his quill, ink and notebook. "Good morning dear", she replied as the Gryffindor joined them. Quote:

Right. Herbology. Its a class. "Professor...." the Slytherin lad nodded his head politely and slowly made his way towards the center table, and sat himself next to Lexi-- mostly out of habit, and Lola, perhaps more due to unfathomable reasons. He gave his Gryffincess a quick peck on the cheek before turning at the young Slytherin girl, blinked a few times and finally uttered "Nice hat."
No he will not say anything about her robes. He knew well enough not to criticize women about what they wear. "Morning Salander," she replied. Such a quiet boy, but polite nonetheless. Quote:

Alright. She took a seat at the table and had everything ready to write. "Morning Miss Hopkins," she greeted the girl. Quote:

At least it was a little warmer inside the greenhouse, she could feel herself melting a little. That was better. "Good day Professor Bentley." she said cheerily as she passed by the Professor and made her way to the table that was sitting in the middle of the greenhouse.
Her eyes scanned the table looking for someone that she knew and her gaze fell on the Huffie Prefect. With a small smile, Mia made her way towards the table and sat down on her friend's right. "Hey stranger. Haven't talked to you in ages." "Morning dear," replied Seren brightly.
