How was he doin'? TERRIBLY. He was falling behind on classwork, he still couldn't ride a broomstick, and he was still terrified of Slytherins coming to beat him up. "I've been wonderful." He lied easily with a big grin. Pshhh, like Viola would show any interest into his troubles anyway... "What about you?" He asked.

"PFFFT, ghosts are easy to deal with. S'not like they can throw a punch at you." Bwahaha, they have no physical quality that should scare a human being. Pirates, however... "Come on, don't be a frady cat." He pulled her arm and dashed towards the old ship. The closer he got, the slower his pace became. But he still kept going. Nothin' was gonna stop him now!

"I'm not scared! I was just... joking?" Jamie said, carrying on walking. He giggled nervously. Viola would not buy that response for a second. She was very much aware of his scardiness.
