Resting her forehead against his, she leaned into his touch and smiled softly. This was how it was supposed to feel. Her heart was beating rapidly and she didn't mind. They finally know what they meant to each other and it was amazing to get it out in the open.

Smiling softly, she nodded. "Love is a very strong word, yes." she replied. "But it does made a lot of us happy." Hearing it made her very happy but being in love with Evan did more than make her happy.

Evan nodded with a smile. Yes, he knew Mina would be there for him when he needed. And although he wouldn't admit it to her, her support was sometimes not quite enough. He wished his parents would support him as well. When he would be signing that contract he would be 18 so he didn't really need his parents, but still, he wanted to feel them too.

"And I will be there for you, baby," he said as he squeezed her hand. He wanted her to know that she could count on him too when she needed; not just he needed her deeply.

"Deal, then, Mrs. Rackham," he said with a short laugh. For a moment he imagined her in Cartwright, but shook off the idea immediately. It was far too early to even think the word 'marriage', and he still couldn't help but think if they got too fast by admitting their 'love'. He knew for his part that he loved her, but it was one of the strongest words and he just didn't want her to be heartbroken by it if things didn't turned out to be as they planned.

He chuckled softly. "More than happy, in fact. Overjoyed is barely describing it." He sighed happily and got straighter a bit to look at the candle. It was almost finished, and he had to fetch another soon.

"What would you like to do now, love? Stay here in this cold peace..?" They did heat each other up, though, as promised. Hehe.
