Spike never knew what to think about potions. He wasn't exactly good at it, and one couldn't never tell quite what sort of mood Lafay was going to be in. On the plus side, he got to use lots of intriguing ingredients. Whilst most students found some of them completely gross, those were the ones he found most exciting. Especially ones he got to squidge and squelch and made funny noises in the process.

"Hi Professor Lafay," he greeted on finding himself somewhere to sit. He pulled out his potions stuff, and sat swinging his legs underneath him. A lesson on ingredients would be pretty cool, right?
