Mostly because Lexi and Neptune decided to make themselves look ridiculous like cats, but that was beside the point! The point was, she was trying hard not to hiss back at these cats, which was WEIRD. She was no cat. She was a SNAKE.

Scowling, the girl shrugged off her cloak and held it in front of her. There was no way she was going to get scratched, and this was the only way she could think of to grab a cat without making some other person get one for her. Actually, it's how she got Poof to take a bath. *shudder* Those were not fun times.
