Jayce swallowed with difficulty some more. It was going to eat him. They were ALLLL going to eat him. "Coax them out? Space?" OHHH. Maybe she was just going to grab one by the fur like he had thought about doing. That had to be the only way. Right? "Why are they so angry?" he whispered softly, not daring to take his eyes off of his original target. It would surely attack and gnaw his face off if he did. "I'll get you my pretty and your little friends too." BEAAAAAAAAM. He just.. had to get this girl to help him. She seemed to know what she was doing.
While the older boy seemed to have his eye on a blue-eyed feral, Arya had her eyes set on a tuxedo one. He seemed.... to be watching her more than the others, and that could be either a good or bad thing. She hadn't decided yet.
"You... don't really 'catch' them... you just have to let them come to you. It's safer that way for us." They could also make a trap, but she wasn't sure they had the materials or magic for such a thing, and she sure wasn't using her robes.
Hopefully they would come to them and not runaway.
That would just suck.
She looked at him and nodded her head with a smile. Yup. Space and coaxing.
"Ferals are wild essentially. They don't like being around so many people." People at ALL. Especially not a bunch of students looking to catch them. She was whispering too, though she wasn't really sue WHY they wee whispering.
Hehe. He was funny. She turned her attention back to her the tuxedo feral who's eyes never left her, and extended her hand further while motioning for the older boy to do the same.
"Extend your hand with the cat nip and keep talking to them, it'll coax them out." And she did just that; speaking quietly to her feral who in return responded by allowing his ears to perk up a bit instead of lay flat on his head.
