TIME SKIP!
Ad's eyes fluttered open and she stretched her arms, yawning. She turned to Justin and poked him slightly. "Mornin'"
Justin looked at Ad and half-smiled, clearly he hadn't been able to get to sleep that night. Yep, epic fail. He'd been thinking a little
too much for his own good. Never a good thing. Justin sat up and rubbed his eyes before leaning forward and bringing his knees to his chest painfully. But he was so used to being in pain he never showed it. Instead he just relaxed and hoped it would go away. Wishful thinking as usual. But it wasn't so much pain that made him physically hurt, pain in his heart. Pain of knowing he was leaving several people behind and he didn't want to. But nobody could avoid it from happening. Not even the doctor's could anymore. It was "impossible" they said. Impossible? How is it impossible to save someone's life? But he understood what they meant. It was impossible to cure his illness because he was too far gone already. Hah. What a load of baloney that was?
