Dani sighed as she reached the Owlery, picking up Molly before she sat down nearby and pulled out her letter. Well, here goes nothing... again. She wondered how many of these letters her Mum had actually read- because she never, ever replied.

I hope everything is okay- I just wanted to write and let you know that you did the right thing sending me here. I really like it now, I mean- I'll always love Beauxbatons and you know that. But... things are better here now. And 'Belle's in for that shoot in the summer- I can't wait to see you then. I miss you, I don't know why but I do. I miss when you used to call me your Princess and when you told me I was gonna be famous- in those rare times you were around or Luke wasn't in charge you were amazing. You haven't met little Lana yet- oh you have to, Mum, she really is so beautiful. I know this is short but there wasn't much more that I could say to you. James would be mad if he knew I'd been writing these letters, so would Luke- but I just felt I had to. You're my Mum and I'll always care for you.
