Samira had no choice but to laugh along with Nika. She couldn't help it. Pink's laughter was contagious. Internally, Samira was quite pleased that she managed to cheer her friend up. Samira could see that Nika was upset that Samira told her she didn't have a present for her. She couldn't help but feel slightly indignant. Of course I bought you a present, Nika! Heck, I even bought the teachers presents, and I don't even like them.... Samira was about to tell her this, but then again, she wanted to see the surprised look on Nika's face when she did hand over the present. Samira just hoped Nika would forget about it until December 30....
Samira listened to the story with rapt attention. She was determined to prove that she could handle anything Muggle. "Right. So there's a chick, a coward, an idiot, a heartless tin, and a mutt. Got it." She frowned at the ending. "Well that was a bit anti-climatic, don't you think? I mean, if I had it my way, they would stay stuck in that place, and have to make their living there. Not wake up from a dream." Honestly. Boooring. But Samira couldn't really hide her interest in the story. Tell me more tell me more tell me more.
Nika still thought it was funny. Hehe.
"Well that's different! Floo and Flu sound the exact same! But gurgle? That sounds nothing like google at all!" Yes, there was a method to her madness. She beamed at Heels as she brought up a very good point. Well for Nika it was considered a very good point. For anyone else eh, maybe it could be average.
"A website is something you find on the internet!" Right about here she was expecting the question,
What the heck is an internet? So she tried her best to prevent that.
"Internet is not something you catch butterflies in. It's actually something you use when you are on the computer." Do wizards have computers?
"You know what. How about you come over to my house over the summer and I can introduce you to all things muggle?" That would solve some problems.
"Well when you say it like that the characters all sound horrible!" Nika said with a slight scowl.
"And well that wasn't the whole story! It was better than you made it sound. There is a witch too. The witch is actually nice, but everyone thinks she's mean.. Well you'd have to see the sequel to understand that." She said with a smile.
"The sequel isn't made into a movie though. It's only a musical." Nika beamed at her extensive knowledge of all things muggle. It sorta made up for her lack of wizard knowledge.
"How about when you come over I'll show you the movie too?"
