He did this alot nowadays, wondering who was on their side and who was not. "It is a pleasure." he said nodding.
Taking a seat and gesturing towards the chair across from him, Armen followed her gaze and listened excitedly for her reaction to the muggle item hanging from the ceiling in the far corner. "Oh that Miss Ward is a tricycle. Its a children's transportation machine, quite ingenious yes? It is physically impossible for the thing to tip over you see, Muggle made too. Do you like it?" Armen took a second and looked at the contraption, turning his head to the side in admiration. Muggles were completely clueless at times but some of their things were at last interesting. Now if that pesky Statue would be dropped.... Letting go of the hand shake she obeyed his gesture and sat. The woman did not relax into the chair however; she stayed on the edge of her seat and kept a tall strong posture.
The woman looked from Mr. Recard to the thing in the corner. Ugh, Muggles. Blah, blah blah. She nodded and her eyebrows inched closer to her hairline as he spoke. A couple audible Oh’s and Mmm’s escaped her lips. She was rocking out the ’I’m pretending to pay attention and give two shakes about the stupid filthy Muggles.’ look.
As he finished she brought her eyes back to him, ”Oh yes, very interesting.” Lies.All.Lies. But who cares if she lies and says she likes the stupid dangling tri-whatever-a-thing. No one.
She motioned to the other random things in the office, ”Are they all Muggle related?” She couldn’t tell if they all had something in common, or random bits of things that made him happy, or what. All she knew for sure was he liked to collect things. She’d go insane with this many items in her work area. This of course brought back to her mind the current instruction from Borr about prettying up the office areas. Stupid.Idea. Mmmm, maybe she’d suggest Devil’s Snare. Insert evil laugh here. |
