She couldn't understand most of what he was saying.
She had wondered somewhere in the middle of the lesson if anyone else was having the same problem, or was it that she really did have an attention span of a 5 year old. But after running into Kurumi on the way out, she learned that she wasn't the only having trouble with lanuage barrier. Kurumi seemed to be having the same problem.
Thus, proving that her mother was wrong, she didn't have the attention span for a five year old. She would write to her mother, and inform her at once that she was wrong. But she would do that after her and Kurumi had finished this idea of making a dictionary refernce thing. That they had talked about. So they had decided to work on this project at the Slytherin table where Caroline sat and waited to meet her there. She had bought a notebook and quills and ink, they were sitting in front of her. She was pretty excited it had been forever since she had gotten to talk to Kurumi much less hang out around with her. She was just a doll.
Kurumi made her way through the Great Hall towards the Slytherin table where she had promise Caroline that she would meet her. Truth be told, it was more of a ridiculous waddle she did considering she was carrying a stack of books on linguistics and dictionaries of foreign languages she had checked out from the library in hopes that they would help the two of them gain insight into whatever Mr. Viking was trying to say.
"
C-C-Caroline?" she squeaked as she peered around the left side of the stack in her arms, only to see that she was looking at the Hufflepuff table. Oops...not there. She then peered around the right side and found the Slytherin table.
THANK MERLIN! Her arms were feeling like they were about to fall off.
She didn't mean to, but as she put the books down, she more like SLAMMED them onto the table due to the sheer weight.
