Nika was a bit taken aback by the girl's snappy request. Yet she nodded when the girl asked her if she was Nika. Nika wanted to tell the girl that she wasn't normally like this. "You can read and write can't you?" she said, it just wasn't fair, she was trying her hardest to be happy all the time and everyone else was getting all miserable over the littlest things.
"All my best friends live in Germany. It's not as difficult as you think." she added as an afterthought. Then she softened a little.
"Sorry. Bad stuff going on. Really bad. Not your fault." she mumbled, pouring another glass of pumpkin juice as an excuse to look away from Nika.
