Dal's chewing slowed when he felt eyes on him. He ate another bite before looking up to see a girl looking at him from across the table. He set his sandwich down right as she said something, and swallowed. "Probably," he answered with a nod. He had classes with a lot of people, and it always seemed to be them that recognized him. He needed to be more observant or something.

He glanced at the girls next to her, wondering if he should let her get back to them. But wait - she started the conversation. So Dal kept talking. "We've never met though, have we?" Hopefully not, because if so this would be extremely embarrassing. "I'm Dallin." And I would shake your hand, but that'd be awkward with a table between us.
