Ryden frowned. She didn't see the connection between what the Gryffindor was saying and what SHE had said. "Wait, let me get this straight so that I know what we're talking about. You're saying that the muggle stories - ALL of their fiction, in whatever shape or form - is about us? A boy with the power of telekinesis and a girl with seemingly supernatural abilities? The world of fiction in the muggle world is vast..." the brunette paused to compose herself. "You think that when they sit down to discuss magical folk, they think about the probability of meeting them? They wonder if they have the same technology? And I don't see the relevance of the Statute of Secrecy here - the point of it is to keep us a secret from THEM so that they won't abuse us," she said, her eyebrows knotted low on her forehead. "I'll give you this, that the discussion of the unknown is similar - but that goes for EVERYTHING that is unknown. I could very well make up that there are mystical creatures that live only in the dark, and we'd start talking about them in the same manner because we do not know what they are," Ryden stated plainly.
She still didn't think magical folk tales were anything like alien ones.
