Narrowing her eyes in the pleasant frustration of a challenge, Kana, sprightly as ever, qiuckly stood on the branch and jumped straight up, grabbing the next one with her arms. She swung her legs up to clasp the branch so she was now upside-down, but she was able to pull herself rightside-up. Moving back to the trunk of the tree, she climbed, again, on the side opposite the ladder. More fun that way. Plus the ladder would've been cheating.
Looking up and slightly to the right, she smiled at the sight of her pigeon. As she continued, she gave a bit of a breathless whistle to get the bird's attention.
Pigeon was staring down at the ruckus back on the ground, perched on the end of a thin branch. He was about to flit down for a closer look when his little head snapped up when he heard his master's whistle. Well. Look who came to visit!
"Coo!"
Pigeon flapped his handsome grey-and-green wings and enthusiastically perched himself on her shoulder for a moment before moving to her head. Boy, she sure was determined, wasn't she? Pigeon looked up to see that she was following closely after someone else.
"Coo." The bird said hello and ruffled his wings slightly. He had manners. Unlike those cocky owls.
Kana looked up, even though she couldn't see her Pigeon. She had a bird on her head.
Yes, she did.
AWWWWH. Looook! The wittle firstie was getting competitive

Heh. Just the way she liked it.
Macy followed behind Kana as she caught up, easily swinging from branch to branch in order to stay beside her. La dee dah dee dah. Mmm, naow wasn't this fun?! Yes. The fourth year reached her arms up to grab the next branch and pulled herself up into a sitting position.
COOO!!!
D: Macy jerked, almost falling backwards. She caught the tree trunk with her hand and righted herself.
"Nice bird you got there," she said, heaving out a breath of air.
