She shuddered. Oh! Look a girl! She considered saying "come here little girl, I have some candy for you," but then she realized she didn't want to creep her out, because she needed her in order to survive in this unknown destination. "um..you?" yeah thaat sounded okay, "hey um you, can you like bring me a lifes supply of food? Because I'm lost, and I need your help in order to survive." she said seriously.
There were three general problems when visiting your owl. The first, was finding your owl amongst the Merlin-knows how many that are in the Owlery. The second, was finding your owl
awake. And the third, was coaxing your owl to come.
Ellie was still stuck on the first. She didn't
know Cliodna. So, unlike with Screech, she couldn't identify her by markings or behavior or anything. Hell, Cliodna probably didn't even know her own name.
But she was soon distracted by another voice, at first presuming the girl was just talking to her owl. Still, Ellie turned to give her a small smile. Whilst looking at her, she realized it was actually
her being addressed.
Ellie furrowed her brows,
"I don't think it would be very reasonable to bring food here." For many many reasons including how unsanitary and disgusting it was to eat in an owl dropping infested tower.
"But the Great Hall is an excellent place to get some." Nod.
"You're in the Owlery." And now she wasn't lost. Now she knew precisely where she was, right?
And the Owlery is certainly not the Great Hall.
