Hogwarts is my escape from my parents..From my past and everything that had happened while I have been living there...Esto is my paradise..To be away from all the pain I had to suffer...All the humiliation and the catcalls from my parents and friends.."CeCe explained. That really was her main reason for going to Hogwarts, to escape all the pain she had gotten back in the day.
Selina listened intently as CeCe spoke about the journey that brought her to Hogwarts. When CeCe talked about the abuse of her parents Selina flinched. So many people at Hogwarts had abusive parents. She could not even imagine what it was like to grow up in that kind of environment. CeCe finished her speech and Selina returned, "I'm so sorry that you had to go through that. Seriously, no one should have ever have treated you like that. I hate the fact that you now have a notion that parents are bad. Not all of them are, I promise."
She awkwardly patted her on the back and said, "But hey with the bad comes to good. You came here for a reason right? That has to count for something at least."
To try to lighten the mood Selina joked, "My family's been in Gryffindor for ages. I'm boring. We just all kind of show up at eleven."
