Were they going to have to actually EAT the Gillyweed today? GROSS. Alex did NOT want to touch that stuff, no matter how much it may have improved his swimming abilities. He wrinkled his nose at his sister's answer--it DID look like gross rat tails--but then remembered he was angry at her and quickly glanced away, but not before he GLARED at her. Just to remind her he was still not talking to her.
He raised his hand, "Well, once you eat it the effects usually last for like, an hour or so," he said. That was all he really had to say on the matter.
