Harper shrugged.
"Well, learning stuff is sometimes limited. Cause, you know, you aren't in the protection of a huge school with tons of professors who can get rid of magic and stuff. So I learned a lot from books," she let out a groan at this.
"...but my mom was pretty good at teaching me. I had to use her wand, though, so sometimes things didn't work as good as they would have with my own wand." she smiled. That was a fond memory, believe it or not, although she loved having her own wand. She eyed the window at that moment, after being reminded of her mother. Still no letter. What was taking her so darn long?

Harper turned to Violet, who looked beyond worried and was on the verge of freaking out.
"Err -" Harper looked all over Violet's face. There was indeed chocolate on it, but luckily only on the nose.
"You have some on your noooooossseeeeyyy," she sang under her breath, as to not announce it and make Violet panic further.
"But don't worry, it's a nice look for you." Nonetheless, Harper took a tissue out of her pocket and handed it to her friend.
