I am deeply offended, and I believe you owe me a nice, long apology--all friends make those nice, big apologies, don't they?!" She completely tried to ignore how he mentioned that they were merely "acquaintances" and tried not to burst out into laughter because well--
They were friends. It was so simple. The boy was blind. Such simple things.
"Movies?" She sighed, trying to think up of movies--"No movies, yet--I've been in some of those Muggle commercials for those toilet adv--I MEAN," she coughed trying to hide it all up, "you know--luxury ads with those gold, big watches and laaaaaaannnnjarrrraaaay" (which in her mind was how the French had said it and it was an obvious lie, for she was both too young and not fit enough (YET) for those adult commercials.
"I've been in plays though! Last year, I was in the Warlock's Hairy Heart--I played the Hairy Heart of course," she said with pride and dignity.
"Train? You were named after the Express?" She opened her mouth in surprise, "It's such a beautiful name." She envied the boy now, sighing and sighing all too dramatically and then raising her head up when he asked his next question. "No, I'm not Muggleborn. I do take interest in those Muggles though!--they're just so simply amazing, and I admire their movies and plays and famous actresses and SHAKESPEARE--that Muggle man was genius, I tell you Train, geeenieeee-us."
She breathed but wanted to continue talking, "Of course, I will, Train. This ship puts the 'ship' in FRIENDSHIP."
First, she giggled at her own humor.
Giggled some more.
Then she laughed out loud, creating a bizarre mixture of snorting and giggling--very feminine if you asked her.
"I'm hilarious, aren't I Train? High-LAAAAARIOUS!" She stopped, going serious for a moment or so.
"Laugh," she ordered brutally.
WHAAAAAAAAAAAT?!
HE OWED HER AN APOLOGY?!
"No, I'm completely right, pointing your wand at people...," especially pretty people,
"...is NOT polite." He was certainly not going to apologize when he was the one who was right about it. Plus, if he'd been wrong, Ellie would've said something by now. She liked to disagree with him.
There was a smirk on his face now,
"No movies, no actress," he started to say, and had she seriously said--er, yeah, better not think of that, let's think of the ship..QUICK! But she started to mention the play part and he seriously had to ask,
"In the acting world or your old school?" and he wasn't being mean, nooooo, not at all.
Sigh.
"I don't know, I think so. It's the only famous train in the Wizarding World, no?" WINK. Famous, see? Two could play this game.
However, her next reply AND statement left him in shock. And pretty much blinking. This is where he smiled kindly at the girl,
"I know, right? They're so amazing!" he was agreeing with her one hundred percent, and then he chuckled,
"I know who Shakespeare is," thank you Olivia Zhang, for teaching us some English literature,
"I suppose you must know Romeo and Juliet by memory, then?" because she was a girl,
"Hamlet was a nice tragedy, I must say, regardless of the cruel ending," and he had yet to read the sonnets. Amazing how he thought that Hamlet had a cruel ending, but said nothing of Romeo and Juliet.
FRIEND
SHIP.
That was simply...not funny at all, and a completely obvious sort of joke.
Treyen still chuckled. NOT laughed, per say, but he chuckled. The girl was clearly missing something in her head. Amusing, she was.
