He followed a group of the other students down below. He really didn't know anyone except one person in the group. That particular person was currently annoying a girl in his house with a camera. The stench of age was awful down here, age and mold and death. The girl that he recognized from his house had just spoken wondering what they were looking for, hmmm. "I don't know but I'm sure this filthy, smelly old ship is looking for a good cleaning."

"Okayyy," she said to Salander, "It's not gonna sink. I get it." It still could, though.

And they were going right. Ellie turned to that direction and tried to maneuver thataway.

Could they blast people out of their way? Like that Lexi-Quidditch-Quitter girl?

Heh.

Treyen will make sure he wouldn't do such a thing, because their Common Room were slightly close.

The boy laughed, though, Salander would've been an awesome pirate. Much too awesome to comment on it. Of course, the original Sir Awesome, being Fletcher, would be the best in any leadership position, so, he'll run this ship perfectly well.

For a moment there, the smile on Treyen's face was dimmed by the thought that Fletcher was not around, even if he'd seen the Gringott's young man over the summer, he still missed having him around at Hogwarts.

But, er, right, souvenirs. The fifth year wasn't precisely sure he wanted to take one coin...even if it could be for Aslan...what if they were cursed or something, eh? That was actually kind of silly. Salander was still standing. And the sixth year falls over a lot. Maybe it brought luck? As the boy hesitated whether or not to take a coin, he shook his head at Salander, "That's if you're assuming that the ship was never sunk, or occupied by others before us," he started to say, "Maybe it was attacked by some pirates and they stole plenty from the crew," no, wait, that didn't make sense, [b]"No, scratch that, the pirates would've taken everything, even the ship,"[b/] TRUE, no?

And he would've continued on and on and on and on about the ship, but the smile from his favorite Ravenclaw completely diverted his attention, from both Salander and the coin. It was perfectly clear, though, that she was still thinking on the possibility of the ship sinking on them, never mind what she'd said to Salander.

It had gotten too crowded, though, and that was probably why Sierra had said she was TRYING to move, but really, there was still room for more people, and there was NO need to sigh. Sierra got in the ship before him, and she'd agreed to climb down. "You know, I think your brother would be a great addition to our group," he said, out of nowhere, "He could light up everything from the top," and carry anything they wanted, yes? "You're clearly the joyous choice," it was hard to distinguish whether it had been sarcasm or if he'd truly meant it, because now he was following after Sierra, yes?

Leaving Salander behind seemed like the best thing they could do, especially now that Lexi joined him and was...discussing something he wasn't interested in.

As for the coin? He decided on not taking it, it wasn't his to take, either way, and it felt like stealing. Gold or not, he wans't going to take something that didn't belong to him. Such a Hufflepuff.

He HAD to let go of Ellie's hand so they could start walking, because Sierra's friend, whose name he now knew to be Lola, was standing in the way. "What made you come down here, by the way? To the ship, I mean." His eyes were on Ellie, because the question was for her, just for her, though, Lola was free to answer, she seemed like one who liked to intrude.

"You hate me don't you?! You want me dead don't you?! Oh I'm dead alright, I'm dead! And I thought you--my best friend, even!--oh what was that?" She leaned over Sierra's mouth, not waiting for any response, "Oh you want me staying here? Really, Sierra? Not in the cold, cold, cooooooold tower with no one to be with??--not to die in complete loneliness??! Wow Sierra, you're awfully nice!"

The girl would never let go of her now, and she clung to Sierra even more now!

In truth, Lola was only talking to herself, but she felt like doing that. Actress relatedness (or maybe she was simply crazy).

In the near-darkness of the lower level of the ship, Sierra heard a new voice, a voice belonging to someone she didn't quite recognize from speech alone (Connor). She turned her head at an angle, studying the illuminated figure from the light of her wand. Hmm. No one she knew, although, she was almost sure she'd seen this boy in the Slytherin common room.

Excellent. A snake. This ship needed a few more of her kind roaming around. "Well, I'm not cleaning it," she responded. Not unless it ended up being a class assignment like the two Vinny Boy had given them last term. It occurred to her that she had several questions about the ship, but she didn't ask any of them. Admitting she didn't know something was like admitting failure, and she hated admitting failure.

"We can either go straight," she said, illuminating one path with her wand, "or left." She illuminated that path, as well, and then turned back to the group. That was when Treyen decided to bring up Sierra's Puffer Brother, Alex. She froze in place for a few seconds, trying to decide whether she wanted to roll her eyes, give him a glare, yell, or do all three. In the end, though, she just gave a small sigh. "My brother and I," she said, her voice rather flat, "aren't speaking right now." That was just all she'd say about that. Her spat with Alex was more than just sibling rivalry. Battle lines had been drawn and things just weren't good between them right now.

...and then, of course, Lola had to start in. Having Lola pipe in with all her nonsense just wasn't good right after she'd been reminded about her destroyed relationship with Alex. Again, Sierra wasn't sure how to react--roll her eyes, glare, yell? Sigh again? This time, she went with an eye roll. "Really, Lola? Really?" she said, not really asking a question that needed to be answered. "Fine. You can stay with me--stay with all of us." Just please, for the love of Merlin, stop the dramatics!

...nice? Well, now that was an adjective she rarely heard used to describe her.

"Straight ahead, or left?" she asked the group again.
