Connor looked down at something white he spotted under his boot. He picked it up and looked at it. It was one of the pages of Kurumi's sheet music. He looked at it with his musician's eye and began sight reading the notes and softly whistling the tune. This was amazing! Merlin if she would work with him on this it would make a very beautiful ballad. He looked up at her and asked her softly. "Will you play this for me please?"
Kurumi cheeks flushed when Connor picked up a few of the parchments. She would have to drop those in front of someone who could actually read sheet music now wouldn't she? "
T-T-Thank you," she whispered as she snatched the parchments back from him shyly.
Her eyes widened as he noticed the other piece under his boot. She was rather hoping that she would be able to crawl across the floor unnoticed and snatch it up before he noticed. No such luck.
Blushing, she took the remaining sheet music and taking a peek at Connor through her dark bangs. "
It's...it's really not all that good...still a work in progress," she blushed looking at the parchment and then back at Connor. His blue eyes had a strange calming effect on her and she somehow knew that he wasn't going to take no for an answer. "
O-O-O-O-Okay..."
Gathering herself and playing with her hair a bit as she made her way over to the piano, Kurumi set the sheets on it and took a seat. Her fingers settled on the keys and she closed her eyes before taking a deep breath. Opening them again, Kurumi began
to play.
