He was so happy to see her even though their swimming adventure had only been two days ago. He then took a step back and looked at her. "Hello Kurumi, you look very beautiful today." He told her honestly, but knowing her the way he did she probably would not believe him. He reached out and lightly rubbed his knuckles down her soft fair cheek. He smiled softly at her then hugged her again.

He broke the hug to kneel down while reacing into his pocket dor some cat trears and a tinkle ball for Walnut. "Hey there Walnut. You been keeping the ladies in line over in Gryffindor tower?" He asked softly, petting the cat. He got up and walked over to Kurumi again. "So when are you going to introduce me to your friend?" He asked her teasingly.

Connor shot Dani a look that said be nice ot our talk later won't be so nice. He smiled to let her know he waas just joking but he really wasn't.

While the ladies were talking, Connor had snuck back onto the stage. "I need to dazzle her Room of requirement, I need a band to do it right." Connor instructed the band and then turned around. "Excuse me ladies but One of you here was told over the summer that I would write you a song. I would like to sing it for you now if' you will. he gestured to the seats in front of the stage.

He reached into his pocket and picked out the drumsticks Kurumi had given him as the elecronica beat to the song started and he did the opening drumming. He then came around to the front of the stage. He grabbed the microphone and began to Sing to Kurumi and the other ladies
"So I got my boots on, got the right 'mount of leather
And I'm doing me up with a black color liner
And I'm workin' my strut but I know it don't matter
All we need in this world is some love
There's a thin line 'tween the dark side and the light side baby tonight
It's a struggle gotta rumble trying to find it

But if I had you, that would be the only thing I'd ever need
Yeah if I had you, then money, fame and fortune never could compete
If I had you, life would be a party it'd be ecstasy
Yeah, if I had you
You y-y-y-y-you
You y-y-y-y-you
You y-y-y-y-you
If I had you.

From New York to LA getting high rock n' rollin
Get a room trash it up 'til it's ten in the morning
Girls in sparkly heels, boys rolling in Maseratis
What they need in this world is some love
There's a thin line tween a wild time and a flat line baby tonight
It's a struggle, gotta rumble tryin' to find it

But if I had you, that would be the only thing I'd ever need
Yeah if I had you, then money, fame and fortune never could compete
If I had you, life would be a party it'd be ecstasy
Yeah, if I had you
You y-y-y-y-you
You y-y-y-y-you
You y-y-y-y-you

If I had

The flashing of the lights
It might feel so good
But I've got you stuck on my mind, yeah!
The fashion and the stage
It might get me high
But it don't mean a thing tonight

That would be the only thing I'd ever need
Yeah, if I had you, the money, fame and fortune never could compete
If I had you, life would be a party it'd be ecstasy
Yeah, if I had you
You-y-y-y-y-you
You-y-y-y-y-you
You-y-y-y-y-you
If I had you

That would be the only thing I'd ever need
Yeah, if I had you, then money, fame and fortune never could compete (never could compete with you)
If I had you, life would be a party it'd be ecstasy (it'd be ecstasy with you)
Yeah, if I had you
You y-y-y-y-you
You y-y-y-y-you
You y-y-y-y-you
If I had you"

He smiled at the girls and then hopped off the stage and went to sit next to Kurumi and wait to hear the next person play or sing as the band disappeared, no longer needed.

Whoah. Did Connor just hug Kurumi? Zara had just another discovery that Kurumi was blushing a while ago probably because of Conor. Oh. That song was probably dedicated to Kurumi. Zara smiled and listened to the performance. It was a good song, really very upbeat.

She clapped after he performed and watched again as he went to sit down beside Kurumi.

Her and Heather could have been practicing together more. If nothing else, it would have made her mother happy. "I would also love to hear you play."

She smiled at Zara. Good call.

Kurumi adjusted the shoulder strap of her bag that was a little heavy due to the cookies she had inside. Sadly, she wasn't sure that she had enough to share with everyone. Maybe if they snapped the cookies in half and shared they could each get more than just a nibble.

"Lovely to see you as well," she blushed bowing her head again.
Setting her bag down, Kurumi took a seat on a cushion rather than one of the chairs. She felt more comfortable on the floor where she wasn't so much the center of attention.

For a split second, Kurumi wonder just who Connor had written the song for. Dani? But then she was reminded of one of the times her and her had spent together over the summer holiday. He HAD mentioned that he wanted to write a song for her...but was this it?

Her cheeks flushed as she listened and she hugged her knees to her chest and rested her chin there, not once taking her eyes off him as her performed.

This song...couldn't possibly be about her, could it? She was so plain and shy compared to other girls. Despite what he had told her that one day, about not being interested in anyone else and waiting for her, Kurumi really wondered if she was worth it...with all her insercurities.

When he had finished, Kurumi just looked at him in awe. "T-T-That was beautiful," she said clapping her hands. Not the sort of music she was used to, but it was hard to listen to anything other than ballads when only a piano was involved.

There wasn't denying it. Something was going on between them and Zara felt like she shouldn't be there. She was a first year, for Merlin's sake. Plus, she knew she couldn't possibly try her composition with all the people. No, she would be nervous and probably end up not doing it at all. In her mind, she thought of coming back for another time, hoping that the room would appear next time. Yes, that was what she'd do. Not now, she can't perform now. She was too...hate to admit it but she was too...scared.

He's awesome." she suggested. Well, at least with Connor performing first, she'll be able to think of what piece to play and hope she can still play it well.

Even performing it again for real, Connor was so awesome. Heather clapped feverishly for her big brother, and she was really proud he was able to perform the song for Kurumi. After all, it is a song for Kurumi.

When he stepped down, she took a deep breath and stepped up. "I g-guess it's my turn..." she said, trying to smile, and prepared herself to perform at stepping up on stage. "u-uhm...this used to be m-my dad's favorite song...I hope i do it good. Please...i h-hope you a-all enjoy my performance." she said and started to perform.

Zara listened to the song Heather played with a deep respect for Heather. She really was great and Zara hoped one day, when she gets passed of her fears of performing with an audience, to perform with Heather. Once she was done, Zara clapped and grinned at Heather. She mouthed, "Great job!" as she did a thumbs up with both her hands.

He occasionally looked over at her and smiled. He enjoyed the ease and confidence that seemed to be in their relationship following the conversation at the lake and their play date at the same location. They were getting to understand each other better he felt, and she seemed to better understand his need to express himself emotionally. He'd noticed that she didn't flinch when they held hands as they were right then.

Connor's eyes filled with tears at the beautiful music. Any kind of beautiful music always touched his heart. He gently squeezed Kurumi's hand as the song ended then he gave his baby sister a standing ovation. He took her into his arms and hugged her. "I'm so proud of you." He whispered into her ear.

Really, Zara was beginning to have doubts of being there. They were like a family who had bonds ever since they've been in Hogwarts. And who was she? A first year, who haven't even met these people earlier. Hesitantly, she stood up..

A smile crept across the Gryffindor's face as Heather played her violin. She had no idea that Heather knew how to play. Perhaps she had been rather shy about her hidden talent. Kurumi knew that she sure was when it came to such things.

"Heather, that was fantastic," Kurumi chirped clapping her hands.

Suddenly, Kurumi felt like all eyes were on her seeing as she hadn't performed anything yet. Her eyes stopped on a grand piano and her cheeks flushed.
Seeing that Kurumi was about to play, Zara didn't know if she was supposed to run for her life now because she might be next to perform, or stay to listen to Kurumi play. It would be disrespectful to just go when her friend would perform for them. She took her seat again.
