Ruby had wandered out to the Courtyard to get a bit of fresh air and to finally write that letter to her father. It was really overdue and she knew he would start sending
her letters and peppering her with questions.
Are you going to your classes? Are you doing your homework? Are you being nice to everyone??? Such nonsense.
So the redhead found a nice place to sit down and leaned against a wall. She unrolled a piece of parchment that she had brought along with her, and then whipped out a Self-Inking Quill--she had just bought it this past summer. No more lugging around ink everywhere! Sighing a bit, Ruby placed the tip of the quill on the parchment and began.
She put down her quill and reread the letter. The fact that 99% of it was a downright lie made her snicker--the only true thing she had said was that she was '
fine.'
"That should keep him quiet for a while," She murmured to herself, reading the letter once more.
