Selina looked up from her cuticles that were being brutalized to see Kurumi take her usual seat beside Selina. She forced a smile at Kurumi and responded, "As ready as I'll ever be in this class. You know how it is."
Of course Kurumi didn't know how it was. The fear and lack of control, but she was the best form of support she had, what without her mother not knowing or her father. Selina was limited and Kurumi was not a back up choice, she was the person she trusted the most.
She then leaned over to Kurumi and whispered, "Can you please watch me? Make sure nothing goes wrong? And if it does, just cover for me?"
Kurumi could tell that Selina was not in a real joking mood, and she couldn't blame her. She understood how it felt to be out of control with an ability, but at least she had her father teaching her tricks about how to control her metamorphagus changes. Selina didn't have that. She didn't have a way to control it. It came whenever it wanted to and left just the same.
