"We should probably talk about that some time, you know?" he said, with one single nod. Just...not right now...right now they needed to defend Salamander, er, no, wait, Salander! from the darkness! At this point, the Slytherin boy and the Gryffindor Captain were probably two decks bellow them.

His eyes were on Sierra, but with a curious look. Why was she blushing? He'd said nothing to embarrass her or anything, right?

Ah! There was the girl he was more familiar with. The smirking Slytherin. Well, Hufflepuff had great smirking people too, you know? "I don't mind leading, but DO call for help if something happens, Sierra." He shook his head. Changes were that he'll be stuck in that ship if he ever fell unless he was found by someone else...that's why bringing Ellie too was a great idea.

WAIT.

Ellie. Was Ellie afraid of climbing down the hatch? Because...it had a stair to head down...and it was only dangerous if you were like Salander and missed a couple steps. "Yes, down there," he said, suppressing a laugh, "Please don't tell me you're afraid of going in there," she played QUIDDITCH, and has dealt with Bludgers before. This couldn't be scary at all. Unless there was a whale around.

But spiders? "I think Acromantulas would be the ones you need to be wary of, but not the little spiders," which were probably going to run away if they saw light.

Oh. He forgot one important thing.

The boy placed one arm around Sierra's shoulders, "Ellie, this is Sierra," he said, and then dropped it before placing the other one around Ellie's shoulders...or...something like that, since he was shorter than her, "Sierra, this is Ellie," and he dropped it just as quickly before taking one step towards the hatch and taking out his wand, "Now you know which names to yell for if you're in trouble," yes, please don't call for him.

And after gesturing for both of them to follow him, the boy's wand lighted up the darkness as he climbed down there...in search of Salamander, right, sorry, Salander.

"Salander? You down there?" Right. So much for courage.

In a sudden state of nervousness for reasons she was trying to ignore, Sierra turned her head toward Treyen with a slight questioning expression. Talk about it sometime soon? Talk about what? Ohh, right--their potion! Suddenly, working on this potion with Treyen seemed a lot more exciting than it had last school year. Sure, it had been exciting then, too, but now...

She quickly turned away from the prefect in an effort to get her mind away from certain type thoughts. Thoughts she was still sort of angry at herself for having. Thoughts she knew her father would literally seethe in anger over. Looking toward the hatch Salamander and Simon had gone down, she nodded her head. "Yeah, ...some time," she remarked. Obviously not now. "Just owl me when you're ready."

UGH!!!

That had so made her sound like she'd be sitting around just waiting to hear from him. She had to get a hold of herself! "Or better yet, just be ready. I'll owl you," she said.

Again, she nodded when he told her to call for help if she got into trouble down that hatch. Come to think of it, though, she might just call for help even if she didn't... "UGH!" she said aloud this time. She hadn't meant to, though. She blushed and turned away, distracting herself by looking out at Kurumi Hollingberry on the banks of the water. Then she felt his arm around her. Her eyes sort of widened a little as she turned back around--to see his arms around another girl as well...

Ohhh Treyen. That didn't help. "There better not be Acromantulas down there, Treyen." Or she will leave. And only return with Little Professor. Even if it took all term.

But they were going.

"Good to meet you." If they died, at least they knew who they were dying with, yeah?

Ellie then lit her own wand, and motioned for Sierra to go ahead of her. She was younger, right? So, she should probably be in the middle. Things didn't attack those in the middle.

She eyed this other girl, wanting to glare at her but holding back for now. Good to meet you?! Sierra should probably return the line, but she just wasn't in the mood to attempt friendliness. She eyed Treyen again, noticing how friendly he seemed to be toward this other girl. With an inward sigh, she looked at Ellie and said, "It's...good to...meet you..., too." There. That hadn't been too hard. She would not be calling the girl's name if she got into trouble, though...

Pirate-Sierra?

Maybe it was an act.

The girl clapped her hands in success quietly when she was told that she had not displeased her best friend. She was even patted! THIS FRIENDSHIP WAS ON TO THE NEXT LEVEL. She obviously won over Sierra and they would be friends forever and ever and her heart was jumping with glee. Had the girl finally seen through the light? Did she see the message Lola was giving to her?! Because she was not like this at Diagon Alley.

Or maybe she was. Just testing her friendship capability all along and Lola Jones did not fail that test. She immediately forgot about her crazy idea of Sierra being a crazy pirate-woman and she her mind was filled with what to do next, maybe... START THEIR FRIENDSHIP CERTIFICATE!

"Oh really, Sierra?" she questioned with a giggle, "No no no! You were looking at someone. You know. Someone. A special someone." HEHEHEHE. But that thought made her even more curious to see who it was. "Fine theeeeeen, c'mon!" With that, the girl was getting impatient with the girl not walking forward and took her hand, leading her toward the... where? "Where do you want to exploooooore? Hmm Sierra, hmm?" Lola Jones was not a leader. Which is why this leading thing was a horrible idea indeed.

OOOH. CAMERAS.

Lola quickly posed, hugging Sierra for a camera-shot. "YEEEES!" CAMERAS. She was a fan of being on camera, the center spot of the holy camera. Always.

Sierra jerked her head toward Lola. Why in the name of all things good and magical was this loud, obnoxious, annoying excuse for a person clapping?! ...oh. Right. Sierra had willingly been nice to her in an attempt to gain a loyal dog. Seemed like it had worked, only, Sierra would now have to deal with all the ridiculousness that came along with being anywhere in the vicinity of Lola Jones.

Then suddenly, Lola's hand was clasped around hers, causing Sierra to sort of stiffen in horror. Where were they going?! Sierra was going to lead--she had to! Otherwise, she'd have to suffer through the humiliation of being lead around the ship by Loooooola Jones. She wouldn't have it! None of it! "Down there!" she suddenly said, the hatch seeming to be the closest place to her. She had just enough time to turn and look toward Treyen, hoping he was coming along, before she disappeared into the depths.
