Carter nearly made his way to the boat from the pitch via his broom. He was running late (which seemed to always happen when he was out on his broom). However, he decided he did not want to be caught again riding his broom on the grounds... so he ran the whole way there.

He wandered around the deck for a few minutes before spotting Caroline and who he assumed to be Kyle. "Ahoy!" he called to them.

What? If they were going to be on a pirate ship, he was going to act like a pirate. ~~So what if the ship wasn't actually a pirate ship.~~
