How did they get on that topic again?
Shrugging, Destiny let Mia link their arms and she had no problems with being pulled towards the kitchen. A lazy person's dream! Having someone else do all the work for them. Once inside the kitchen, she took a seat across from her friend and avoided all eye contact with those demon house elves. Those little creatures sure did like to hold grudges and she didn't like the things they whispered about her.
So what she accidentally placed one or two or six in a body bind? It was an accident!
"I'm just going to have some potatoes." Maybe Mia could ask the house elves to get them for her? One time, she found a HAIR in the bowl and she sure it was in there on purpose. Placing her elbows on the counter, she rested her chin in her hands as Mia shared her thoughts about the ship. A GHOST ship!? Nah! Destiny had a better idea.
"What if it isn't a ship at all? What if it's an ARC? An arc filled with a whole bunch of animals? We wouldn't have to go on the safari to get my giraffe after all!"
Right. Just potatoes. The girl was certainly easy to please but before placed the order with elves...
"How do you want your potatoes? Roasted, boiled, mashed, creamed, chips, baked with a dollop of sour cream or perhaps a gratin." And good god she needed to get a life. The thing is being a vegetarian you tended to know all the different ways on how to cook vegetables even if she couldn't actually cook herself. But all this talk of potatoes was making her want some now.
"I think I might have some potato and leek soup." Yummy!!
Sweet Merlin!!
They were back to talking about giraffe's, but Destiny might be onto something.
"You could be right." Mia seriously doubted it but she liked to keep her friend happy.
"What is it with you and giraffe's anyway? I thought it was lions that took your fancy." She held back the smirk that was threatenting to break over her lips at the thought of embarrassing Destiny.
"Do you think we should take some food down to the ship? Whoever is on there might be so apprecative they might let us sail it."
