Dianna sighed heavily and shook hands with the Hufflepuff. Maybe they did just get of the wrong foot, anyways no friendship is perfect at first. If they were going to be friends which Dianna actually hoped they would.

"Fair enough." Di smiled. "I'm eh..Dianna Lyra Malfoy." she said. She didn't know if she too should tell her whole name but since Simon did then Dianna should too. She did feel a little uncomfortable after that, he was still a stranger after all. A stranger named Simon but this was Hogwarts.

"So Simon, what year are you in?" she asked.
