"If you can say ridiculous things, then I can throw pillows." Fact! Hmph.
Neptune did ease up with the temper though when he appeased her with more snuggles, and his mess of hair in her lap. Her fingers automatically returned to the hair-that-needed-cutting and were lost there. "The difference is... no one really wants to, you know?" Or something. Whatever. Neptune, for once, wasn't fishing for compliments and was just talking. "Whatever. What more does a girl need if she has Head Boy hugs? I vote you don't get another girlfriend so I don't have to suffer." Yep, she would be selfish juuuuust like that. Finlay laughed, turning slightly, so that he could look up at her. "Deal." He grinned at her. Because really watching her throw pillows would be pretty epic. "As long as you don't throw them at me." Whicj Neptune totally wouldn't. Because they were best friends. Totally.
Finlay smiled pretty sheepishly as her fingers went into his hair again. It was a nice feeling, he could probably fall asleep right here actually. "I do." He mused, closing his eyes, and just listening to her. He liked snuggling with Neptune, he liked it a lot. And wasn't going to be changing his mind in a long time. He didn't listen to rumours, or gossip, not at all. Neptune was cool, and his best friend.
"Oh??" Finlay laughed again. There was one way to get over that though. "Why don't you be my girlfriend? Then you can have as many hugs are you want." He was totally joking of course. Jimmy would hate him even more if he got with Neptune...
