Ha. Not really. That wasn't the reason.
He smiled as soon as Renee opened the door. He was missing Nolan more than ever, though, but this time, he didn't want her gone. Good for Bishop. "Professor," he nodded, "I sort of...want to talk to you," clearly, otherwise he wouldn't have come, right?
No, he would have, even just for a visit. The fact that Treyen had simply gone with her title hadn't slipped past Renée, as she'd spoken to him. She was a professor, and it didn't bother her to be called such. It was more the fact that she hadn't quite been able to figure out what was behind that one little word. It seemed a bit more accepting, than what was expected last term. More accurately, what had happened, although not quite as much with him. His request had been straightforward, though, so she'd nodded. Obviously he had something he needed to say, and it wouldn't have been hard to try and find that out. She'd let him have his own say, however.
She did gently nudge Bowie away from the door again as the cruppy tried to sneak out. "You know you're always welcome," she said, nodding again to let him know he could precede her through the door. Hopefully distracting her pet before he tried to get into trouble again.

She glanced at the vacant chairs in the room, they did look rather comfortable \. So she sat down on one and waited for her turn. Finalizing her notes regarding the first lesson of term, Renée had looked up at the sound of faint knocking. It seemed more people were making the trek up to her office this term, as opposed to last term. That was promising, even though she couldn't say she knew the reasoning. All the more reason to go find out, and she'd walked over to the door and opened it to find Cass sitting on one of the chairs she'd put outside. That was unexpected, but she only smiled at the blonde Slytherin. "Hey there, Cass," she greeted the girl, glancing around to see if there was more fruit around. The last apple had gotten eaten almost as soon as she'd gotten back to her office after the feast. "Did you have something you wanted to speak with me about?"
Cass hadn't always been the most enthusiastic Divination student, but that didn't mean there wasn't always the possibility.

Something was going with the Ministry that these new teachers wanted to keep under wraps. It was unsettling to the little second year that in the course of one year the government could impress their views upon an entire generation, infiltrate her school, and make a man who she had never heard of before their new Minister of Magic. How could they even do that?
It was times like this when Selina wished she had better control over her powers and could open the window to the future whenever she pleased. She wanted to see what they were all planning. But she would never take the chance to open her mind to using her gifts more. What if the outcome was not what she had expected and she became one of those famous Seers who the Ministry kept under lock and key while they shouted out Prophecies all day long...
That would not be her fate.
While she wandered she found herself outside of Professor Bishop's office. That room had been her refuge the year before when she was still figuring out her abilities. It was then that a flood of guilt came upon Selina for she had not gone during the opening feast to say hello to her. One would think she would say hello to her favorite teacher, but alas there was no time.
She had time now. So she sat outside on one of the chairs and waited. Perhaps she could even ask her opinion on her idea of seeing the future under her own will... Heading back up to her office after a walk through the grounds, Renée smiled as she arrived in her corridor to see a familiar little redhead seated outside. It hadn't bothered her that she hadn't seen Selina at the feast, or that the girl hadn't visited the staff table. She'd just assumed that meant she was with her friends, and she knew that was the best place for the girl. Worrying was never good, and at that thought a bit of a concerned expression crossed her face. Even before she'd managed to greet the Gryffindor.
"Are you okay, Selina?," she found herself asking instead, unlocking her office door without looking at it. She'd heard the movement from the other side anyhow, so she was prepared for anything once she opened the door. Her concern for Selina was more important right now, though.
