Finlay AND Jim?? Marie was crazy....? She'd had them both, and they BOTH really liked her. ONLY her. And she'd dumped them both. Neptune couldn't imagine it....? At all.....? "Scared of you," SCOFF. "That's so ridiculous, Finlay. I can't think of a single reason why someone should be afraid of you. I bet they're just jealous." Neptune poked at his tummy. Poke. Poke. She didn't want to turn away from her? Or to feel bad because other people were stupid. "Maybe they're just looking at this hair." .....giggle....? "Maybe..." Finlay mused, looking at Neptune and smiling slightly. Part of him didn't really believe it. Jimmy and Finlay were very alike, it didn't really surprise him that Marie had ended up dumping them both. It did seem pretty funny though that she'd got with both of them. Surely she had known that Finlay was like. So maybe bits of this was Marie's fault too? That certainly made him feel much better. Sort of gave him a bit of confidence back.
Finlay laughed, though he did see some truth behind what Neptune was saying. Those people were just listening to silly rumours, and it wasn't fair at all. "of course there jealous..." Finlay laughed, tickling Neptune a little. This was why he loved hanging around Neptune so much. Even when he was feeling so vulnerable she made him feel happy. Oh. Back to the hair. Finlay laughed. "Do you think I should cut it?"
