Krissa had to fight back a laugh at the look on the other students faces as they realized that their teacher had a tiny bit of an accent. They might have trouble understanding him, but for Krissa it was no problem at all. Living in Bulgaria for five years does that to you.

Ancient runes might not have been Krissa's best subject but she was adequate at it, and with Krissa adequate was usually quite good. Plus anything was better than potions.

"Ancient runes is the study of the ancient runic scriptures and what they mean. The runes come from places that spoke the germanic language, particularly Norway and Germany." There, she had her stride back.
