'How am I expected to be mature? I'm surrounded by hooligans!'. Ella laughed. That was the word her Mother often used to describe all 6 of them. Zara stared as the two playfully teased each other. She smiled for a while, but then after a few moments, Zara sighed. Where was her brother? Her brother who'd protect her, look after her, tease her? "That's okay, at least you all get to be together." That sounded wrong, it's too serious for the current conversation. She was about to say something else, but Zara couldn't think of anything more to say.
She sank back in her chair and closed her eyes for a while, not wanting to be disturbed.

"AHHMPH." He collided with the floor, his skinny limbs tangling themselves up in his over-sized scarf as he tried to right himself. He was lying on his back, like a turtle, arms flailing. Kurumi looked down at Walnut and could practically see his kitty ego growing with all the compliments he had been getting over the past few hours. She felt very bad for whatever first year managed to offend him and found a rather unpleasant surprise when they put their shoes on the next morning. "Walnut is a he....and a king in his own right," she giggled scratching the cat behind the ears. BAM! Zara smiled, "Took the words right out of my mouth." Then, giggled. Finally, someone who understood exactly how she felt. "Have you met any interesting people at Hogwarts? Well, yeah, I mean there are a lot. But I mean, the really interesting ones, with totally different and unique background and life and personality?"
"He is...kingly." Zara smiled. She had always wanted a pet. All kinds of pets to keep her company back home. And a cat, a dog, a rat, a bird, an owl (which she has now), a fish, an eagle, a phoenix, all kinds of animals! "You know, I've always wanted a pet cat. But, when mum said I needed an owl to make sending letters easier, I agreed right away. Not that I don't like my owl. I love Eirwen, of course. She's the best." Quote:

Quickly scribbling a message for Zara, Ari, and William from her room upstairs, she ran back down the common room and left a note on the table next to the cookies Kurumi made. Zara, Ari, Will: Gone to the Owlery. Meet you at Lachlan the Lanky in a while? Then we can head for the Great Hall and Black Lake. ~ Tayla
Hoping they'd find it, she left the common room and headed to the Owlery. Zara spotted a note near the cookies. Thinking it was another from Kurumi, she decided to go and check it out. Oops, it was from Tayla. Zara scanned the note.
Alright, she was on her way.
