Renée had been, once again, leaning on the windowsill inside her office watching the lake, when she heard a knock on the door. It only startled her a little, as it was early enough in the term that anyone visiting wasn't about to have any serious problems. She needed to finalize her first lesson, but Tate didn't make a habit of checking in. Therefore, it was a student, and seeing as there hadn't been what counted as a line right after the feast, she had imagined that meant she was less of a new topic and more just accepted as being there. That was fine with her, but that didn't mean she wasn't curious about who had decided to climb up to her tower.

Heading for the door, Bowie at her heels as usual, with a tennis ball clamped between his teeth, she opened it to find Treyen outside and she smiled. "Well, hello Treyen," she said, leaning against the doorframe slightly. "What brings you here this early in term?," she continued, holding the door open to let him head inside. She figured he would have just tried to find her around the castle if he hadn't wanted some form of privacy for whatever was bothering him this time around.
