"Oh. That sounds fun. I'm jealous." he said. He hadn't played... or even been on his broom... all summer.
It was definitely one of the downfalls of being a muggleborn. You had to worry about neighbors and little sister's adoption overseers. But luckily, last summer was the last summer that the overseer would visit. This summer he would be free to fly his broom and do magic (after his birthday of course). And there was also apparition to look forward to. Mina's aunt's boyfriend shared a few stories about the problems he'd worked on in the apparition department. But that didn't scare him one bit. Nope, he was excited to learn.
"So did you end up getting a new broom?" he asked.
Caroline grinned, she noticed the blush but didn't say anything. She did rather enjoyed making him or watching him blush. Frowning a bit now, and patting him on the back, She had forgotten about him not getting to stay in contact with the magical world to much during the summer.
"Yeah, I did! I got a Firebolt 600. I spent what I had left of my birthday money to get it."She smiled. She liked it, better than using Casey's old one.
