"Well I'm rather not, after that speech of the headmaster..." Hugo said as he rolled his eyes. "I think it's wrong that the ministry is sticking their noses in our business," he said. "Next thing you know when you're breaking one rule they escort you to Azkaban!" Hugo frowned. Okay, that was a bit mad but he really didn't like the sound of it. "Did she really now?" Hugo asked surprised. "Well she hasn't ever done anything bad to me personally... But the lady still freaks me out," he said. "Anyway, I'm looking forward to our homework and study sessions," Hugo nodded. "And baking cookies with you and..." he took the notebook from his pocket to see that checklist again. "Ah yes, and practising non verbal spells and wandless magic. Oh and the Aguamenti charm, but I think I have made progress with that one. As well as with the Undetectable Extension Charm. I can make small spaces the size of a sock now," he chuckled. He looked at the note above that. "Ask dad how airplanes work" Oh yes. There was a check next to it. "Oh by the way, I found out more about the aerplain things! I think I've got a pretty good idea of how they work," Hugo nodded enthusiastically.
"
I am jealous that you got to practice magic over the summer," Kurumi frowned. She wished that her family, well, her mother was more understanding about who she was and that her father wasn't such a stickler for the rules. "
The only magical training I got were lessons from my father to help me control..." she leaned in and lowered her voice. "
...my abilities..."
Hugo knew what she was talking about, right? She had begun to lose track of how many people she had sworn to secrecy about it. Perhaps she should take Lexi's advice to heart and just come out with it. Go to class one day with bright orange hair or something.
"
I don't think the Ministry officials that have been at the school have been all that bad," she said frowning a bit. "
Mr. Ikenna really helped me out while he was here. I-I'm a little sad that I do not see him sitting at the staff table to be honest." Lord Borr, on the other hand, she wasn't all THAT disappointed. She was pretty sure that the man had wanted to swallow her when he had eaten all her cookies.

The more she tried to please her mother the more average she was- average was over rated. Especially when your fantastic.
But Selina's thought process took a screeching halt when Kurumi said her father had helped her with studying techniques. Selina stuttered, "You-you told your father? Kurumi!"
"
Cookie magic...right," Kurumi giggled taking another sip of pumpkin juice when...
...she began coughing and hitting her chest to make the darn stuff go down. Her eyes flashed to Selina and she shook her head as she continued to choke on her pumpkin juice.
"
Father has been helping ME with MY studying," she corrected as she continued to shake her head.
