SPOILER!!: Ivory

Suddenly she was remembering a few weeks before, standing on the witness stand, the light blaring as she was interrogated. The moment when she was made to divulge details she hadn't talked about for all those years. Her throat dry for a minute she swallowed, composing her face into a pleasantly curious mask.

She'd moved past it all, she really had. Honest. It hadn't come up for years! It was only because she'd just recently had to retell it all, minute detail by minute detail, that she was even effected at all. She'd even drank the tiniest amount of butterbeer last week. Not from a bottle of course, but in a cup. That was progress considering she used to not be able to even look at a bottle without getting queasy. But no! She was past this! She could sit here and listen and nod and participate in the conversation and not give away anything. That was the plan.

SPOILER!!: Tibi saving the dinner conversation :)

Whew.

Now she didn't even have to participate. Topic avoided and onto better topics. Alright so maybe she was the tiniest bit of a coward but she'd deal with that fact some other day. For the time being the speech was said, the food had appeared and it was chow time.

Hearing their combined laughter, Ivory felt her grin pick up in a one dimpled smile glad their senses of humor meshed.

Her head tilted to the side slightly, hair falling lightly over one eye as she looked at him in disbelief. "You live in Miami!?" Talk about coincidences. "But that's like a stone's throw away." Not literally, but closer than across the country. So perhaps a stone's speeding Hail Mary away? "I live in Fort Lauderdale," she explained eyes alight. "Well on the outskirts...sort of near the Everglades." But still in the same state, imagine that. What a small world.

Changing gears slightly to answer his question, she gave a small nod. "Very much so. Originally, my parents wanted me to play the piano but after a year of that I realized I just did not have wide enough hands." Almost to prove her point she lifted up a slim hand. "Of course, that was back when I was 9 so I'm sure that's probably not the case now." she admitted with a small laugh.

Realizing he was calling her bluff, Ivory grinned cheekily. Darn it, he'd caught the loophole. Very astute of him to make it a condition to not blame the actual sound on him. Giving a sigh of gigantic proportions as if it was a great sacrifice to entertain him, she gave a short nod sticking out her hand. "Alright, deal."

Tiberius looked to Ivory as the moment of questioning about the Imperius passed. He offered an apologetic glance and "shrugged" but only in his facial expression. He hoped he hadn't dragged up anything for her.

He weighed the possibility of talking to her about it. It could be incredibly helpful for him... but possibily traumatic for her.

He decided to say nothing.

SPOILER!!: Ellie

Hehe. "You're still on about that?" She'd gotten over the fact that she favored three teams equally and simultaneously. Apparently Treyen hadn't. "Yeah." That was all that mattered to him, eh?

She ignored the Tibi comment. It didn't matter to her what Treyen thought. She liked it.

"Do YOU like Quidditch, TIBI?" Mhm. She was calling him such. And she was genuinely interested.

GIGGLE. "Tightie?" Giggle. Cuz that was SO much better than 'Tibi', Treyen? "Like Tightie Whitie?" Like UNDIES? Pleasing, Treyen.

Oh. Imperiused. Yes, Ellie was all ears.

....Or not, apparently. The girl narrowed her eyes. She wouldn't let this go, Tibi should know. She was far too curious for her own good.

SPOILER!!: *shifty*
Insert Tate's speech here.

Oooh speech! Speech meant food. ...Which meant she'll have to eat. Which meant she'll have to put the picture down. Except she couldn't. Uhmmmm....

Something about Tate's speech distracted her from worrying, however. Well, worrying about the picture.

"One of those seats is Little Professor's," she assured those around her. Never fear, he WAS still here. She KNEW.

But also, "He didn't say, 'don't die'...Why didn't he say this?" Her eyes were on Treyen when she asked this, as if she EXPECTED him to know. Sure, it freaked her out when the Headmaster did remind them not to die, it was too weird for him to NOT say it.

Shaken from his thoughts by Ellie's question, he looked to her and smiled, hazel eyes bright. "Love it. Played for the House team my second year and then again at Beauxbatons." No need to mention the position, though. People had made far too big a deal of it. "I had the Prophet delivered to school, but actually reading it to keep upon my team proved a bit difficult. I'm a little out of the pro-quidditch loop at this point."

It was a good thing that Tate hadn't speechified yet, because if Tiberius' mouth had been full of food or drink, he would have choked on it. Tightie Whities?

SPOILER!!: Treyen

He should contemplate that once he figures out what he wants to do.

Ahhh! That story! Tiberius never finished telling it! But now was not the time to ask for it, given the fact that he also didn't want to comment on the Imperius stuff. "I know," he'll ask the details later, you'll see, when Tiberius least expects it. "He's gone, you know," hopefully, the sixth year will figure out that by 'He' he meant 'Willie'.

Mmmmhmmm. Brielle. His face had that same look from when he thought of Healer Moretti. "Yeah, she was, she stayed with us Hufflepuffs too." They were the awesome ones, and get to have pretty Brielle in their Common Room, and...the winking fellow Nikolai. "Brielle was far nicer than the Durmstrang dude that shared our Common Room," just don't tell Mia he said that.

Haha. He laughed, and then looked at Tiberius, "Tibi-Ty-T." Nod. "It was a way of warming up the nicknames until I ended up calling you 'T'." He'd had it all planned out since day one. Only...it kind of didn't turn out that way.

Er, say what? He smiled, "I know he did, Sir Awesome won," your point? "But I was supporting the pretty Beauxbatons girl from day one." Back when he didn't get along with Fletcher and they had a fight about a book? Yeah, that's why he'd supported her from all the girls.

The Durmstrang ones were kind of scary, and while Monique was alright, he liked Brielle the best. Did Ellie needed a play-by-play?

Seriously? "It will never be an 'off' matter, you're supposed to pick ONE." And he was completely serious about it, don't let the smile fool you.

WHAAAAAT?!

The smile was gone, and he was staring at Ellie.

And blinking.

That's not what his nickname to Tiberius was about! "Er, no." Like, honestly, NO. "He said I could call him 'Tibi', but I didn't like it, so...I kind of started to break the name down...until I found something I liked..," that what all that mattered when it came to Treyen, things he liked, except with Neptune, he'll let that girl get away with everything, and maybe Ellie, "...I was going to end up calling him 'T', out of failing to come up with something better." Like, Sir Awesome.

And then the speech. Treyen had noticed the 'Don't die' was missing from it. And that 'Lord Borr' made an appearance in it.

Little Professor? Mmmhmmm. Yeah, Ellie, we know, there are some empty chairs, though, probably the Ministry ones. "I see Bishop in there," he smiled, he needed to talk to her as soon as possible, "And Mr. Stryker," which was the most important one, right? Wrong. The most important one was..."Healer Moretti, too." Cue smiles.

But...right...the speech part. Treyen shook his head and turned to Ellie, "I think it IS implied, wouldn't you agree?" it was in the 'good year' part, it's pretty much the same.

He let Treyen handle the nickname bit, as he began breathing again, his cheeks a little flushed. All that business about Kaika was sort of lost in that.

Blinking, her turned to listen to the speech. Borr. No. No no no "No, no, no, no, no, no," he muttered to himself. Tate didn't say it, but Tiberius had this feeling that no way would Borr appoint others and not take it upon himself to 'enlighten' the students. "That man in a festering, idiotic excuse for a wizard," he continued to mutter, placing his head in his hands. He didn't even care that there was food now in front of him. Borr was an appetite ruiner.

And as for the 'don't die'... Tiberius wondered if Tate was getting lax.
