"I'm looking forward to your classes Professor...." She realized she didn't know what his last name was and what he was teaching.

Gemma glanced at the lovely student with a smile. She glanced at the basket of apples and then glanced at the Headmaster. She wasn't sure what the rules were with taking gifts from students and after the Headmaster's comments earlier she was a little cautious at grabbing an apple. She could just see the old Muggle fairy tale with the poison apple playing in her head.
It would be her luck that she ate a poisoned apple on her first day at Hogwarts...That's not the way she would want to be remembered at all.
She studied the young lady with a smile and then decided that this student could be trusted and she reached for an apple while saying, "

I'm Professor Cerulean, History of Magic. And you?" she asked with her sweet voice.
Oh, she was the one who took Professor Welton's place!
"It's nice to meet you Professor Cerulean." Cass answered
"Oh, and your welcome." Then she smiled brightly "I'm looking forward to History of Magic with you Professor. It has always been my favorite subject." Which was true. It was like...academic gossip. or something of that sort.
