Treyen could just...forget the whole Ellie-thing, right? After all, he did know very little of the Ravenclaw boy. "That's a nice team you support," he approved, and that was A LOT, coming from Treyen, especially now, "I'm with the Arrows, always supported them, my dad used to play with them," that was the main reason, and, also, the Arrows were simply amazing.

There was a reason why Drake Warren was chosen to play for England again, he was the best Beater the Arrows' had ever had.
Dallin smiled and nodded in agreement. Of course he agreed, and that's why he liked the team. He actually had some legitimate reasons to support them, unlike the Holyhead Harpies, which he just liked because they're an all-girls team.

His eyebrows raised at the team Treyen mentioned. "The Arrows are good, from what I know of them..." Which admittedly wasn't much.

Nevertheless, as she saw Ellie's excitement for her gift she made a tiny thumbs up behind Dallin's back just in case Treyen happened to be looking. Hopefully Dallin didn't think she was invading his personal space at random.

Speaking of which- he was shrugging. That was good at least. Now she didn't feel like she was prying into sore subjects.
"Well, glad you like it here then." And she was. For purely statistical Ravenclaw prefect pride-ness of course. Purely. "Sisters left you mighty big shoes to fill, I suppose?" Just more reading between the lines really. She wouldn't take it personally if he decided it was none of her business.
He snorted very unpolitely when Ivory asked about 'big shoes' to fill. When he realized how rude that might've sounded, he frowned. "Well, sort of," he said, tipping his head slightly side to side. "Not academically, but socially." Which probably sounded weird. But he really was better at school than both of his witch sisters, no matter how surprising that was.

Thinking that that might not be very clear, he continued. "They were known by everyone in the school by the time I got there. And, by relation, I was expected to be as outgoing as they are." He paused for a second before going on, a sarcastic twinkle in his eyes. "I know it probably doesn't seem like it now, but I wasn't always this good-looking and popular."

And yes, he was only joking a little bit.

"But enough about me," he said, looking at Ivory through his eyelashes. "Tell me some more about you?"

---

Dallin tried not to eavesdrop on Ivory's other conversation, but when he heard them talking about lion rawrs and bird calls, he had to cut in. "I dunno," he said slowly to Ivory. "I think it would be pretty awesome if you randomly squawked so all of the Great Hall could hear you."
