"That sounds nice." she nodded slowly after being asked how her own holiday was, staring at the window across from her at the side of the room. Her own holiday? She couldn't even begin to think how to phrase it in words that wouldn't seem too vague, much less think of a reason why she was being this nice to Lexi. "My holiday was nice." Mmhmm. "I got a horse."
...
o_O Yush, she did.
Lexi gave as shrug. Yeah it was REAL nice up until the end... then it was the worst experience of her life. How's that for life? Can't have anything really good without something swooping in and mucking it up. Salander and she were... something, even. His evil family not wanting then to be together or whatever that was...
"
A horse?! That's awesome! What's it look like? What's it's name?" Lexi asked perking up JUST A BIT. She loved animals after all. Maybe she would ever attend CoMC this term... considering that evil Mexicana was no longer teaching.

Kurumi blinked in surprise as Lexi removed a tear from her face. She really couldn't laugh about many things in her life, but she wasn't sure that she could just tuck them away in a box and pretend that they didn't matter.
Smiling, she nodded. She certainly felt like she had been cut deep that that salt was being rubbed in the wound with sprinkles of lemon juice now and again.
"I guess this means I will pour everything I have into yearbook...and other things," she giggled with a wink.
Lexi gave a shrug and a soft smile. "
That's what I'm here for kid. Making others feel better when I can," she said with a humorless chuckle. Really... her life was a mess... she had to do something... she couldn't fix her own so why not other people's? "
You'd find someone else to help you through if I wasn't around. Everyone loves you..." she said with a smile, while she really felt a pang of hurt and jealousy.
"
Just focus on your studies, your extracurriculars and you will be fine, " she promised the little girl with a smile.
