There was, of course, the chance of Ellie beaming at the fact that someone else liked Quidditch, after all, she did love the sport. But Treyen's mind at the moment decided not to accept that.
No, he was not forgetting Dallin's question, he was only thinking on the fact that if the boy did try out, as Ellie suggested, and then both of them got on the team, well, that would mean...extra hours of Quidditch practice together. Just...great.
Could someone please come and get him away from this table? Anyone, really, he'd take Kaia anytime now.
So, eh, back to Dallin, "Of course," he said, the nicest tone possible, "And do you have a favorite team, Dallin?" only one. Not three, like Ellie.
The fifth year was going to nod when, wait, what? "Next year? It happens every four years, Ellie," he chuckled, otherwise it would be very exhausting for the players, and for the fans as well. And for Vindictus, because the man was getting old. "He did, and he was far too different from the Hogwarts game, he looked...even more fierce, and scary, if that's possible," and had the whole Pro-Quidditch attitude that came with old Quidditch legends. Clearly, Treyen's father was an exception.
Why was she staring at the picture like that, though? Those Quidditch players were only hanging out and smiling at whoever took the picture. He actually took it back and eyed it, in case he'd mistake the picture with another one, but no, that was the right one. "It's yours." Hand extended to her again. "Something wrong?" was there something really wrong? SPOILER!!: Dal Quote:

"Puddlemere United," He answered automatically, looking back at the Puff. He stopped himself from adding the Holyhead Harpies. He didn't really support that team, but it was one of his favorites. "I don't see them play much, though, what with having muggle parents and whatnot..." He could imagine what would happen if he asked his parents if he could go to a Quidditch game. The look on his dad's face would be hilarious. "What about you?"
He listened to them talk about the professor for a while before tuning out. When was the headmaster gonna give his speech? Dal was hungry!
YES, Dallin. You WILL try out.
....
Oh. Merlin. She knew that. She knew that. The redhead mentally kicked herself in the butt. She was blaming her cousins. Again. Good thing they weren't here to know that she blamed them for pretty much every negative thing that's happened since summer.
Though she knew it wasn't REALLY their fault. "Oh man." She would've loved to see that. Loved to. Cousins. Ugh.
The picture. Right. Ellie still didn't take it. She stared at it a bit more, biting her lip. More for the reason that she wasn't sure what would come out of her mouth if she opened it. "Mine?" "I...I," she shook her head and looked at Treyen. She would SO cry right now if she wasn't Ellie Stone. Like seriously. She might cry anyway.
And she still didn't take the picture. She didn't believe it. It was like...too much EPICness that...it couldn't be hers. So... yeah. She just couldn't move her hand.
However, Ellie could move her head, and she turned to look at the boy...Tiberius... that approached Treyen. Waiting.
