Alright...so that would have been a horrible excuse to say, but she was irritated, bored, and ready to just go to their common room and sleep. This day felt like it had been the longest out of the whole year so far, and it was just dragging on. Having to turn her attention back to Bissy though, since the girl was being rather nice at the moment and had asked a perfectly innocent question, Evelyn waited for a moment or so before looking over the girl's way. It was a shame though that the dark haired Slytherin didn't feel like being nice back. She tried though! Very much. "It was fine." she nodded.
That was...sorta true? "And you?"
Hmmm, Sierra could brighten her mood a little she supposed. Her comment sure did that is. Hehe. "It's always pleasant to see you around as well."
Interesting? Aw not one to talk about what happened was she? Well, that was all fine with Evelyn. Though that did make her ten times more interested in what actually happened.
"Mine was...interesting." Goodness, interesting wasn't really the word she was looking for, however, for now...it was alright. Actually smiling, it didn't last for long once the next question reached her ears, and it fell even more once she heard Bissy start to answer. WHAT!? "Friend...?"
Wait, what? No no no. No one became Evelyn's friend after a less then thirty minute meeting...and much less after she found out just how SHE knew Josh. No no. Obviously, Bissy was mistaken. And OBVIOUSLY Evelyn must have misheard her because she was certain the girl did not say...that. "I'm sorry but, what do you mean two years?" Yes, certainly she misheard.

Drawing in a quiet breath, Sierra turned back to her and said, "Yes, well, I've been told I'm a little mature for my age." When the girl's face fell, Sierra's eyebrows automatically rose in response. Hmm...she smelled trouble at the snake pit. "Ahh, I see," she commented, giving Evelyn a questioning look. Then turning back to Bissy, she simply pointed in the direction of Hogsmeade. "Just there," she said, lowering her hand, "about a five minute walk away."
Concentrating on small talk with Evelyn had suddenly proven to be quite difficult for Sierra. Her attention was now fully focused on whatever it was going on between her friend and this Bissy girl. Hmm...maybe Bissy was starting to prove herself to be Slytherin-ish after all. What have you done, Bisssssy? Sierra raised her eyebrows at this, but otherwise said nothing. Her eyes traveled from Evelyn to Bissy as she waited for the question about the two year friendship to be answered.
Bissy looked at the end of the table trying to take in every face she saw at the house table. She thought miserably how this year was going to end. She looked at her plate and didn’t feel like keeping eating it. She raised her eyebrows when Evelyn answered her question and look at the dark-haired girl’s face and she said:
“Nice to hear that. I wouldn’t expect it to be bad thanks to your companion. Mine was OK, too and luckily nobody tried to steal my belongings.” with a sarcastic smile on her face.
Sipping her pumpkin juice she looked at her direction. And there came the awaited question. Bissy looked at her face with a fake astonishment and said:
“Oh, correct me if I’m mistaken but I have thought you have known where and how we met Josh. Haven’t you? So let me make it quite plain. We met each other two years ago on a seaside and had an absolutely perfect summer holiday together. We have been in contact, since then. So that makes two years, doesn’t it?” She moved her fingers around her goblet and watched Evelyn for a moment to see her reaction.
She then turned to Sierra and said:
“Oh, that’s nice. I love Hogsmeade.” However, she sensed a bit of oddity in the younger girls attitudes. Sierra was weighing her deeply. Bissy felt a bit irritated as a pair of eyes was travelling over her but she had to get used to experiencing it as she was a newcomer. *inner groan*
She took her eyes off Sierra she focused her attention on Evelyn, waiting for a response and wishing an angry one.
