Kurumi giggled and pushed a few strands of her long black hair behind her ears. "Not to put a label on Slytherins, but last year almost no one touched my cookies because some people thought I had put something in them thinking that no one would be so nice as to bake cookies for all the houses," she explained shrugging her shoulders.
She then noticed the boy's gaze shift to someone across from them and her eyes instantly fell on the shinny prefect badge sitting proudly on his robes. She saw the older boy eyeing the cookies, but didn't take one. She supposed that THAT had just proven her point.
Daichi felt bad after listening to her story. Why would anyone say she had put something in the cookies? He looked at the half eaten cookie in his hand and it looked like it was baked by hand. (or wasn't it?).
"Uhm, you want to hold Mr.Duckels? It cheers me up" he said and held his plushed ducky out to the girl.
"Oh i'm Daichi by the way, Daichi Katharos and i'm new here!" the smile was back again as he watched how the black haired girl looked past him towards Evan.
He saw the look on the girl's face and felt bad again. He turned around to face the Prefect with a look on his face while pointing at the cookies the nice girl had made.
"Ya! she made these cookies for us, why aren't you even trying one of them?" he said as he picked a cookie and held it in front of the Prefect's face, trying to shove it in his mouth.
