Looking up once again, a faint glow returned to her violet eyes when she saw Heather standing before her. "Heather!" she smiled as some of the sadness faded away. "Come sit down."
Kurumi scooted a bit to the side so that Heather could join her and Selina. She hadn't seen either of them on the train and, truth be told, Kurumi had been kind of avoiding people due to the urge to suddenly burst out into tears.
"It was alright," she shrugged. "Much better than usual really. Father is working for the Daily Prophet now, so I got to spend more time in London than back in Japan. The more time around magic, the better really."
She smiled at Selina. "Thank you again for allowing me to come stay with you. I am glad that I can do a proper take off now." Although her landing still needed some SERIOUS work.
Selina nodded as Kurumi spoke about her father and her summer. Selina had heard quite a bit about Mr. Hollingberry after her mother had met him in the park. She had some interesting things to say about the man.
"Yeah it must be so hard to spend most summers away from magic. Even though I can't use it my parents can so am around it."
When she mentioned flying Selina laughed, "Yeah thank Merlin there were no gigantic cupcakes in our way. Seriously though you've gotten really good. Try out for the team."
